Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SoundFlood collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website, the dashboards for brands, creators and admins, and the emails we send.

What we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone, country, password (stored hashed), profile photo.
• Creator profile: social profile links, niches, gender and age range for campaign matching, tier.
• Connected accounts: when you connect Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, we store an access token, your username, follower count and the list of your recent posts so you can submit them. We never post on your behalf.
• Post data: links you submit and their public views, likes, comments and sound.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We store amounts, invoice numbers and Stripe references, never full card numbers. Creator payouts use Stripe Connect.
• Tax forms: creators who earn above the annual threshold provide a W-9 or W-8BEN. The tax ID is stored encrypted; only the last 4 digits are shown.
• Technical data: IP address (for security and rate limits), error reports.

Why we use it

• To run campaigns: matching, verification of posts, payments, reports.
• To prevent fraud and abuse.
• To send service emails (login codes, status updates, invoices).
• To meet legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

• Brands see the creators who apply to their campaigns and the public posts they submit.
• Service providers: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Apify (public post metrics), our hosting and database providers, and error monitoring. They process data only on our instructions.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

As long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for payments, tax and legal records.

Your rights and data deletion

• You can view and edit your profile in the dashboard at any time.
• Disconnect a social account in your profile; we delete its token immediately.
• To delete your account and data, email support from the address you registered with. We delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep for payments and tax.
• You can also revoke SoundFlood's access in your Instagram/Facebook, TikTok or Google account settings.
